Testing Back On Track MESH Dog Blanket for Bablo's rehabilitation!

We had a great change to try Back On Track MESH Dog Blanket for our Bablo last week. I'd searched information about BOT-products before and MESH Dog Blanket seemed to be the best choice for our use.

As a rehabilitator dog we have 4 years old Golden Retriever male Bablo, who we have rehabilitated for couple of months now. Earlier this year Bablo had viral meningitis, which was really hard for him and he lost lots of muscles and weight. He had also very high-dosed cortisone medication for it, which cost us lots of his troubles with his body. Bablo's body control have always been little poor, because we didn't get a change to develop his inner muscles for good shape enough before his illness. After viral meningitis his body control was even worse and normally 30 kg retriever weighted only 25 kilograms. His muscles atrophied mostly from his neck, rib-cage and legs. In addition, cortisone made him to drink more, swollen his stomack area and put his metabolism upside down.

Now in couple of months we have got his weight up and he weights now about 29 kilograms with little bit more of muscles again. In a week we are also done with his cortisone medication, when true muscle building can start. Bablo's rehabilitation have included right kind of food and medication, running free, walking with leash, swimming, balance- and coretraining, massage, jumpingtehnique and short rally-o trainings. After hard exercises muscles of his hind legs start shaking badly and that shake and muscletension is there for the next days, even we massage him after training and exercises. It's also very hard to keep his mucles warm after training.


It was very easy and simple for Bablo to get used to his new BOT-blanket; first two evenings we used it for two to four hours per evening, that Bablo could feel blanket's warming effect in his body and muscles. On the third day he weared it before exercise and finally over a whole night when trainings were harder. Blanket's material is very light and airy, so it didn't bother him at all. Maybe because he got lots of compliments of his blanket from every single person :) Walking and all kind of moving with blanket went very well and I loved how easy it was to tighten up, how it fits for different dogs and its hemline is nicely long for dog's hips and elbows. Bablo's rehabilitation condition

I've heard great things about this product for training and competition use before from other dogowners and friends, but it was nice to try it for Bablo's rehabilitation use too. Shortly, blanket's Welltex-fabric works reflecting already exits bodyheat back to the dog's body and changing it for long wave infrared heat radiation. That increases the blood circulation. The increased blood circulation in the tissues helps to relieve muscles tension and improves performance. BOT-products are great to use for training, competitions and also with injuries and rehabilitation. They have products also for humans and horses.

Even I had heard great things about BOT-products, I had my doubts about its benefits and working. Or maybe i thought it wouldn't work at all in our situation. After litlle over than a week I couldn't be more happier or more relief what I am right now! Doing balance- and coretraining again couple of days back Bablo's hind legs didn't shake anymore at all! After swimming and running we used BOT-blanket over a night and Bablo is indeed more flexible and spry than before. The whole rehabilitation has felt like eternity to us and I've been messed up with all those worries. I've been thinking can we even get his best condition back at all. I have been positive about it but still got my doubts every now and then. But now i'm more than glad to say that Back On Track MESH Dog Blanket is perfect for using dogs who have some kind of injuries or rehabilitation going on. I think that using it for Bablo shows its benefits even in little over than one week, so we definitely are going to keep using it for him. Even I was a little skeptical about it at first, now I can truly said that we are going to use more of BOT-products too in the future for competition and hunting use too.
